Kinda surprised there was/is no skatoberfest thread here. Hope they got a bunch of new listeners/forumfolk here last night. What a great way to publicize a podcast about music. HOLD A CONCERT. Genius. Wish I coulda been there.

Yeah, it was a great show, even if there was like, no one there. I hope they hold more concerts.

Thanks, glad you had a good time! More on your hopes and wishes coming in a couple days in this next episode.
Currently listening to:
That's What A Heart Is For – Thomas Roue (great local musician, not sure if he's still making music though. maybe we should find out and have him on the show)

I co-host the show. I also design things: http://www.dan-hauk.com

I've been finding lots of great music from this podcast as you know, but another new source of cool music I discovered recently is The Ya Ya Neat Show. Just five or six songs every week or two, "curated" more than "DJ'd" by Ian from the humor podcast Two Guys Being Animals. Ian is an accomplished musician himself actually, raised by a radio dad, he has always been surrounded by music and music-tech, so his tastes are eclectic mix of old and new, indie and known. He's in Vancouver, so lots of good Canadian music in both his podcasts that us Yankees never really get to hear. Check it out here.
(also, TGBA might be a fun podcast to Cross-Promote with [as mentioned in my latest email.] They have done it with other semi-popular podcasts. Tell em Rabidbadger sent ya.)
