I know I'm old, but so are the red hot chili peppers, who are supposed to put out a new album soon. Wondering to see if they have matured at all. Especially since Fruciante left.

I, too, was eagerly awaiting the new Vampire Weekend and was in no way disappointed.
As far as the Chili Peppers go, I have never been a big fan, but musically speaking Fruciante was always the strongest component. No other guitarist was as good.
