09/02/2009 — This week we're talking about The Beatles Rock Band that is coming out 09.09.09. Both Mixed and Mashed and Got You Covered are Beatles-themed. Our Random Artist is Sean Lennon, son of John and Yoko. Plus we've got some special guests this week to help us out.

Also, as mentioned, we may be doing a radio interview tomorrow night (9/03). Some things changed at the station so details are being hammered out once again. We will let you know when everything is finalized.

Yeah man, bummed about that. Hopefully very soon in the future it will happen. Also, we've got something else we're working on that will be pretty fun to do. Nothing for the show per-se.

On an unrelated note, this episode was really really fun to shoot. We need more of this kind of stuff. Also, what does everyone think of using Viddler as the site player, with the tags for the beginning of each segment. I think it'll make things easier to find in each episode. Thoughts?

I co-host the show. I also design things: http://www.dan-hauk.com

OMG, that opening was awesome. Glad you are playing with fun openings lately. Hilarious.

hmmm, funny random thing on table… where ever would you get such an idea?

Hmm, been meaning to check out the grey album for years.

I think the Handy album would bug me. I’d hear part of a song and wanna hear the whole real thing.

Easy Stars reminds me a bit of Dred Zeppelin, but more serious.

Welcome Back Brendan…

Oooh, you made me wanna finally check out the Across The Universe Movie… I Like that version.

DanH is staying UP TO DATE.

Nice, seans music has matured.

I wonder what happened to Julian. I loved his first album.

Never played rock band, and I’d be feel silly trying to figure it out. But sounds fun for those who like the Beatles and vidgames.

I hope the radio interview works out, would love to see ya get more audience.

Hmmm, secret interview, coming to Philadelphia, off to google…

Out takes were funny, had to watch the intro again. Loved it. Def one of the funniest eps ever, with Brandons cuts and all.

And I always chuckle at the Cameraman credit.

Peace out.

Edit to say… Damn, Dan, your Dad DOES love the Byrds. Album art in every shot!

We had a ton of props left around and since Brady had gone home at that point, we wanted him there in spirit.

Do it!

I guess we can just come forward with it, seeing as how it didn't happen. It would have been Sondre Lerche. I'm extremely bummed out that it didn't happen, but maybe eventually. His press rep was really nice.

We are already working on a couple more interviews.

It's currently being rescheduled.

@rabidbadger
Glad you liked the intro. It was really fun to shoot and we want to start doing more of that kind of stuff to add some more interest to the show.

I'm excited to do the radio spot because it will be super fun I think. I could definitely see myself in broadcasting full-time, though I don't have experience or too much knowledge in the workings of radio. But it will be pretty fun and we'll be sure to keep everyone updated when we get all the details.

Out takes were funny, had to watch the intro again. Loved it. Def one of the funniest eps ever, with Brandons cuts and all.

I've watched the intro about 10 times so far, and the episode about 2.5 times. Pretty pleased with the way everything turned out. Hopefully a little more silliness in the next episode

I co-host the show. I also design things: http://www.dan-hauk.com
