I stick to the classics. rum+coke, gin+tonic, jack+coke (actually, I prefer Wild Turkey to Jack), whiskey sour, white russian, vodka+cranberry…

DB, i would've thought magnums of Cristal for you. now, i'm about to type way too much.
beer: i just went to a beer festival recently, so i've been on a fancy beer kick. i've currently got half a case of Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA waiting for me at home. also, i've pretty steadily been getting variety cases of Yards. it's a great, reasonably priced, locally-brewed beer. philadelphia! and you're always safe ordering a Yeungling at a bar. good beer at a decent price.
liquor: i don't drink hard stuff too often, but when i do, i always drink something that an old man would drink. straight whiskey. bourbon on the rocks. always harsh, always sipping. i don't know how to do shots properly, so i'm a whiskey sipper.
Secret Pants' shows: we exclusively drink "Dub Zinf", white zinfandel, preferrably from a box; a bottle of Old Grandad whiskey; a case of Miller Lite and/or Miller High Life
"Fastball Pitcher" Bob Gutierrez: "Domestic American beer." Domestic beer. From America.
weddings: Dub Zinf; whatever my girlfriend's father is drinking (last time: a Rob Roy); Yeungling
holidays: i never like to get drunk at family functions or, worse, my girlfriend's family functions, so you can't go wrong with a Sam Adams seasonal beer.

I wish I liked beer enough to know whats good and whats bad… my previous rule of thumb was that I was fine as long as I could take a decent sized gulp and keep it down.
Beers I can drink:
- Yeungling (as BC said, always a safe bet)
- Blue Moon
- Hoegaarden
- Miller Lite
- Killians (a local bar has $1 pints every night of it, and though its cheap it doesn't taste awful)
My first cousin once removed had me try some beer that basically just tasted like raspberry juice, which I would drink again, but I forget the name.

when i offer samantha a taste of the beer i'm drinking, her response is always, "bleh, tastes like beer". when i offer her a fancy beer, it "tastes like fancy beer". that's pretty much the distinction at this point. you can tell that it's different from normal, cheap beer, but it still tastes like beer. i figure if i keep at it, my taste buds will eventually become refined enough to, say, pair a certain beer with a plate of food.
at the beerfest, i tried a Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, which tasted like cough syrup with an aftertaste of fruit loops. i thought it was gross, but you and she might like it.

I prefer liquor to beer, though beer is always more readily available at parties, etc. But if I have too much of it, like if I get drunk off of beer, I'll feel worse than if I get drunk off liquor, both later in the night and the next morning.
As far as drink of choice, I'd have to go with either amaretto and coke, white russian, or whiskey sour. Corinne always makes fun of me when I order a whiskey sour because "it's an old woman's drink." But whatever, if made right, it tastes great and she agrees.
I'm not too huge on seasonal beers because most of them have lots of different spices and stuff in them. They just taste off to me. Beers for me, I stick to the traditional stuff like Yeungling, Coors Light (over Miller Lite), Lionshead.

I ordered a Tom Collins last night, because I finally remembered to do so, and I was not disappointed.
I've had Cherry Wheat once and didn't like it, but that was when I hated all beer.

Big beer fan here. Rarely drink hard liquor. When I do it's special occasions, then it's Rum and Coke or Gin and Tonic, both with lime.

My drink of choice changes a lot… But I've always been a big fan of Jack Daniels, especially Gentlemen Jack and REALLY especially single barrel jack daniels. also something I tried recently that was pretty good if you like vodkas is Crystal Head Vodka. I'm trying to stay away from beer more and more but when I do I tend to stick with Heineken, Newcastle or Dos Equis
