10/02/2009 — We’ve got exclusive coverage of the Dragonfly Music & Arts Festival in Reading, PA. Dan Berg talks with Mike Miz, a musician from York, PA, and he talks with the founder of the festival. Tons of cool footage to go along with it. This week’s Random Artist is Rodrigo y Gabriela. Thanks to everyone who made this possible!

Yes, I am, and yes, we are!
It says “All We Have Is Logic & Love On Our Side” which is from this song.
The “Peabody Please!?” thing is something Colbert does when he believes he deserves a Peabody award for doing something groundbreaking, such as my in-tatt-viewing.

Oh, I guess I could rewind and watch the bloody gore again, but what was it you had tatted on you, DanB? And when do we get to see DanH’s wrist tat?

Live Blogging…
Hippies!!!
I discovered Camper Van Beethoven at a similar fest
I love your guys eclectisism.
Don’t matter what kind of music, I love someone who concentrates on their own original music.
Dude makes his guitar sound like he’s playing banjo at the same time. Amazing.
Sweet opening up for an Allman Bros dude. Good for him. He seems nice. hope he goes far.
DUDE. you are NOT doing an interview while getting a tatoo. You are the coolest hosts in the universe!
He wishes you were naked under there. Crazy hippies.
DOH. Rain. Just like woodstock.
Third person would be really helpful, especially if he/she is also helpful with editing/web/promotion.
Bummer you only got one interview at the festival. The bands sound great.
(wondering what DanH would look like with a mustache)
Got Santana-meets-hendrix influence big time in the random artist.
Yes. Of course I’m right about Glee. LOL.
I was curious about that artist. I know you are mostly music, but hey, why not feature a visual artist every now and then, if they relate to music. I did album covers for every band I ever hung out with. We artists be cool.
instant brainstorming. Love to see minds at work.
Nice mellow ep this time. I like diversity in my podcasts.
Peabody, please????

Since I always forget to mention it on camera, check out the “Links” tab on the episode page for all the links we discussed as well as links to download the music we used in this episode.
Anyway, as mentioned, this was a super fun episode to shoot and we had a blast at the festival. I really hope we get to do more of this kind of thing in the future. It was nice to have a relaxing day where we weren’t running ourselves ragged (like at Warped Tour), and were able to enjoy the awesome atmosphere.
I’m really hoping to see a lot of people come out for the show next week. That should also be a great time.
