Haha, awesome. My dad loves The Byrds and has a bunch of their vinyl all over the walls, along with some others like Elvis, The Beatles, and a bunch of 45s he got for cheap (maybe even free)

I KNEW something looked familiar… in the background.
Found it in my Late Dad’s stuff. I remember seeing the vinyl in his collection too, when I was, er, about your ages….
I should most probably listen to it someday.
Also, the CD has 8 bonus tracks on it. Hmmm.

man i wanted to shit all over that interview because i saw it as cowing to the huge marketing machine that is MTV, but i’ll be damned if she wasn’t so nice, genuine and endearing. i wish her well.
sidenote: DB, remember when you put a hippos track on a mix cd for me? that was the point when i realized that i wasn’t the only person who knew who the hippos were! cue: “old friends” by simon & garfunkel…
the extraordinaires! while it’s awesome that you can get them on emusic, i highly recommend getting the actual cds. they are presented in silkscreened, hand-bound books that look beautiful. i believe you can find them at punkrockpayroll.com. think about it, at least.
oh, and if you keep it up DH, maybe yuengling will send you a free case of beer. just keep them labels showin’! and maybe a free case of “orange”?

Yeah it’s pretty cool. They weren’t friends or anything though, hung out with different crowds. Graduated together, he’s got the year book to prove it.

Haring went to school with your dad? Cool. I know all about him. /starvingartist

I must say, I enjoy your “live” blogging. I like seeing your response to things in the episode. The tattoo on my wrist/forearm is inspired by Keith Haring, one of my all-time favorite artists. Made famous through pop/graffiti art, did tons of collaboration with kids all over the world, sadly died way before his time. Grew up around here in Kutztown, went to high school with my dad. Will get an image up in the “tattoo” forum soon.

Live blogging, except not live to you because this is a forum not a chat…
Camera and sound are great.
ICP scourge, lol
Nice to see you enjoy a beer this time
White trashier than white trash, haha
P-diddy response: Who??? He decided on a name finally?
I love you guys as canadians.
about the reality show. Wrapped in OCTOBER???? that kinda kills it. Who wants to watch a show someone won a year ago?
(but cool you got mainstream attention)
She seemed cool.
(even if she isn’t still in the running she would be still doing press for her own career, with or without the show)
(hi- from the forum)
Cool, Was hoping you would mention the eMusic thang.
(getting extroidainers on my emusic, suggest a few good songs)
Rabid Badger is still looking.
Next dead band should be Klatatu, LOL
(*looks for hippos on eMusic. You know I love horns in music*)
DanH. What is the tatoo on your wrist.
Fun sounds indeed fun.
Are they on eMusic
“two of em are us” (last.fm) Sorry, I’m a Pandora user.

Thanks! I think the video quality is better if you download it, too. The video hosting service compresses it even more to make it a Flash video file. But the audio is definitely clearer and not so tinny. I like it.
And yeah, lol, P. Diddy (and the fact that she kept calling him Puff Daddy)

Oh, just remembered this as I was about to walk out the door. SHIT, YOU MENTIONED KITTY, DAISY & LEWIS! I fucking love them. Then again this is coming from the girl who seriously has so much swing and rat pack-esque vinyl that I could use them as bricks to build a house and have at least a mcmansion. So of course I love them. And now I can’t stop listening to them since you mentioned them.

I just went completely brain dead. Don’t remember what I was going to say at all. Besides that I heard an ICP song for the first time a few weeks ago. And that I hope Dan B found his ipod. And that the quality of the new equipment is fucking awesome, dudes.
Also, lol, P Diddy.
